Master's dissertation, justification of the topic and its relevance: Currently, the issues related to the economic and social aspects of the territories are gaining great importance in the Republic of Uzbekistan. For many years, economic and social problems accumulated in the regions due to the lack of in-depth analyzes and proposals within the regions, and the implementation of separate programs in the regions was not ensured. As a result, the level of development of these areas has slowed down. Based on the above, a deep analysis of the economic and social situation of Pop district is required. As a result of the analysis, the basis of this work is the development of special proposals unique to the district
The object and subject of the research The object of this research work is the socio-economic status of the Pop district, and the subject of the research is about the socio-economic development prospects and increasing the recreation and tourism potential of the Pop district based on the general economic geographical description.
