My favorite holiday is Novruz. This is the national holiday of the Azerbaijani people. This holiday falls in mid-March. But the holiday is celebrated on Wednesdays of the previous 4 weeks: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind Wednesdays. The sound of birds, the blossoming of flowers, the beautiful smell of the air give me a good mood, and I love writing. We celebrate almost a month. My mother always soaks wheat before the holiday and sprouts malt. Every Tuesday in our yard My father makes bonfires.

We go to visit all our relatives on this holiday. We go for walks with my aunt and uncle's children. Every year we see the symbol of malt installed in the city. We are very happy.

We are watching the Novruz festivities in the city. We are watching the interesting performances of the heroes of Novruz, Kosa and Kechel. We almost celebrate Novruz together with our relatives.

My mother, along with my aunts, cooks şakarbura, baklava and qoğal, which are Novruz sweets.

They start preparing for this holiday 1 month in advance. Our mothers clean the house and start supplying the holiday. They buy different cookies and sweets.

In my opinion, children love this holiday more. Because children throw hats at relatives and neighbors' houses. And when the host sees a hat on the door, he fills it with a lot of cookies and sweets. When our neighbors throw hats at us,we put sweets and cookies made by my mother in the hat.

The boys gather the boards they have gathered and light a bonfire. And the whole neighborhood gathers around the bonfire and dances the yalli, which Azerbaijan has been doing since ancient times. My favorite thing is that such people are together.

On this holiday, my mother always lights candles as many as our family members.

My favorite feature on this holiday is that people are laying eggs. I am looking forward to this holiday, especially for the egg race. If someone's egg breaks quickly, he must comply with the request of the person in front of him. I can say that my father often wins.

There is also a custom of reconciliation on this holiday. No one should be left on this holiday. My grandmother taught me this custom.

There is even a custom called ring fortune-telling. Single girls fasten the ring to their hair and keep it on a glass full of water. The number of times the ring hits the glass is a sign that the girl will get married at that age.
