Abstract.
This article provides brief information about the advantages of asynchronous motors
and their areas of application. Analysis of the transient processes during the start-up of asynchronous
motors and determination of the main quantities, methods for determining the flow of currents up to 4-7
times higher than the nominal current from the stator coils during the start-up
process and reducing
power losses. information is highlighted. In order to do this, a mathematical model of asynchronous
motors was created using the Matlab program and dynamic processes were obtained using the Simulink
window. Based on the information in the Simulnik window, the main parameters of the electric motor
were determined. The obtained results help to
control the asynchronous motor, choose protective
equipment and achieve economic efficiency.
Determining the main quantities in the transient modes of asynchronous motors is quite
complicated, and this process is a short-term process. Such transient processes
can be easily obtained
using the matlab program. Proposals and conclusions were made on measures to reduce the power loss
of the asynchronous motor, to obtain the main parameters and to reduce them.
