Functions of output devices:
Webcam: A webcam is a digital video device commonly built into a computer. Its main
function is to transmit pictures over the Internet. It is popularly used with instant messaging
services and for recording images.
Speaker: Converts digital signals into audible sound waves.
Microphone:
A microphone is a device that translates sound vibrations in the air into electronic signals
and scribes them to a recording medium or over a loudspeaker
Monitor: The main output device of a computer. It forms images
by converting electrical
energy into light in the form of tiny dots on the screen called pixels. The sharpness of the
image depends upon the number of pixels
Printer: Used to print information on paper. Commonly uses
either lasers or inkjets to
precisely place ink onto the page to recreate text and high-quality images.
Headphone: Headphones are a pair of small loudspeaker drivers worn on or around the
head over a user's ears
