Typology of lexical level of English and Native Languages
Typology is the study and classification of languages according to structural features, especially patterns of phonology, morphology, and syntax, without reference to their histories.
Cross-language means relating to languages of different families and types; especially: relating to the comparison of different languages; a plural of phenomenon, a fact, occurrence, or circumstance observed or observable: to study the phenomena of nature.
Generalisation is the act or process whereby a learned response is made to a stimulus similar to but not identical with the conditioned stimulus.
Sememe is the capacity for a sign (such as a word, phrase, or symbol) to have multiple meanings (that is, multiple semes or sememes and thus multiple senses), usually related by contiguity of meaning within a semantic field.
Heterosemy can be seen as a special case of polysemy, with the difference that in polysemy, the related meanings of a form is associated with the same lexeme.
