First of all, I think that it is necessary to prevent the media from disseminating false information or spreading propaganda. Furthermore, regulations could be established to ensure that news outlets are truthful and balanced in their coverage of events. In my opinion, this would help to prevent the spread of fake news, hate speech, and conspiracy theories that could disrupt social harmony.
In addition, the theory that governments and politicians should control the media is mainly true. While it may seem like an efficient solution in theory, it is problematic in practice. The mass media act as a watchdog for those in power, ensuring that they operate ethically, transparently and responsibly, while providing citizens with news and information. Giving absolute power to any group of people, especially the government or politicians, is a completely wrong approach.
In conclusion, I truly believe that government and politicians control of the mass media is not the only answer to the problem of bias, fake news, and propaganda. There should be other alternative ways to solve these problems. When it is said that government and politicians should control over mass media, people shouldn’t understand it in wrong way. The meaning of it is that not totally, but in some way there should be control over mass media in case of that there might be created chaos, or fake informations among people.
