Procedure of the lesson:

I. Organizing moment: - Greeting.

  1. Checking register

  2. Check for homework given on past lesson. Ask pupils all new words learnt on previous lesson.

II. Pre-activity
A ctivity 5 Make a survey in class. Find out who are visual, kinesthetic or auditory types of learners.

III. Main part
Activity 6 Make a required list.

A. List of new words of the Unit 8.


B. Form sentences using new words.


Activity 7 Ask your pupils to discuss in small groups.


  1. When did you begin learning English?



  1. What kind of ways did you use to remember new words?



  1. What techniques of learning English do you know?



  1. What challenges do you come across while learning?


IV. Post-activity

Activity 8 Read the text. Did the writer compose a narrative paragraph correctly?




V. Homework

Write a narrative paragraph about how you learnt a new skill.
