biodiversity and sustainable development in Mexico. Thus, it has established
strategic alliances with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), The Secretary of the
environment and Natural resources (Semarnat, as per initials in Spanish), the
Mario Molina Center, The National autonomous University of Mexico (UNaM,
as per initials in Spanish), the National Commission for Knowledge and Use of

of Protected Natural areas (Conanp, as per initials in Spanish), amongst
other that are also relevant. in addition, the Centro Deportivo Ciudad Jardín
Bicentenario (Bicentennial Garden City Sports Center) was built and it is a huge
and unprecedented ecologic rescue project, built on what was the garbage

it is outstanding that this work program is carried out with WWF in six regions
of the country (Gulf of California, Chihuahua Desert, Biosphere reserve for
the Monarch Butterfly and the Mesoamerican reef) that group 18 priority
areas.
