Palindrome Challenge
A palindrome is a word, phrase, or sentence that reads the same
backwards as it does forwards. Probably the most famous examples

Build a Pyramid
Built for Pharaoh Khufu, the Great Pyramid at Gaza was originally
480 feet high. Its base was 13 acres wide. When it was finished,
the pyramid had more than two million blocks of limestone.
Follow these directions to make a model of the Great Pyramid. (The real pyra-
mid is 2,000 times larger than your model!) Here’s what you’ll need to make
your model:
• scissors
• construction paper 
• blue, red, and green
• a ruler 
• tape
crayons, pencils, or pens
