The textbook reflects the section of biology that is important in the medical education of a doctor. The basic laws of cell development, structure and function are reflected, including the main features of the cell, i.e. the vital processes of a living organism: metabolism and the body's connection with the external environment. Situational tasks with solutions are given, as well as tasks for self-solution, questions for self-control are formulated. The material is presented in accordance with the levels of organization of the living - molecular genetic, cellular. The teaching material of the manual is presented taking into account modern achievements of medical and biological sciences, the interrelation of its individual areas is shown. The textbook corresponds to the standard curriculum and program approved by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2023) Figures 160, Tables 9.
This textbook is compiled for students of medical universities for mastering program questions on the section “Cell Biology”.

PREFACE
The textbook is compiled in accordance with the program on medical biology and general genetics for students of medical faculties of higher educational institutions, approved by the Ministry of higher and secondary special education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Modern biology is characterized by the rapid growth of knowledge of the fundamental and systemic mechanisms of vital activity, the increase of its social significance and the strengthening of connection with the life of society and the individual, who himself becomes the object of study of modern biology. The connection of people with wildlife is not limited to the framework of historical kinship, because man an integral part of this nature. He influences her, and at the same time experiencing the effects of the environment. The nature of such bilateral relations affects the health of a person.
The study of man as a biosocial being is carried out in accordance with officially recognized levels of organization of the living, which allows for continuity between biology and medical disciplines.
The textbook "Cell Biology" is devoted to the study of the cell as an open system with flows of energy, information and matter. Special attention is paid to the importance of cell theory for medicine and the problems of cell proliferation
Cell biology is a branch of biology focused on the study of cell structure and function, on how cells form and divide, and how they differentiate and specialize. Cell biology defines both the general properties, common to most cell types, and also dissects the unique features of specialized cells, which allow them to perform different functions.
The main objective of the course is the study of man as a biosocial being with an emphasis on his biological features, which are of paramount importance for the formation of fundamental knowledge in the student in the study of biomedical disciplines.
