8. EL IMPERIO SELÉUCIDA Y PÉRGAMO
a) Obras generales
1 y viii consignados bajo «Obras
generales» (pp. 429-431 arriba). El enfoque más radical de las instituciones
seléucidas pertenece a Sherwin-White y Kuhrt, Samarkhand to Sardis.
Kingdom, ambos amenos. Buenas ilustraciones en Colledge, «The Seleucid
kingdom» y Sherwin-White, «Asia Minor». Kuhrt, Ancient Near East, y Hornblower,
en Yarshater, ed., The Cambridge History oflran, iii. Bikerman (sic), Institutions des
Sé-leucides y Rostovtzeff, SEHHWi, pp. 422-551 (administración seléucida), pp.
553-566 (Pérgamo) y pp. 566-602 (resto de Asia Menor), sigue siendo importante y
presenta una impresionante gama de detalles. Bevan, House of Seleucus, es riguroso,
«Des Achéménides aux rois hellénistiques», L'Asie céntrale y «The Seleucid
kingdom, the Achaemenid empire and the history of the Near East in the first
