They share most of the television time, even the prime time. These kinds of format are conceived as conversation, stand-up comedy, interview or debates and they broadcast social, political or sports topics with a wide range of public interests. On the other side, the TV viewers love and watch this program. They could interact through their Smartphone and social media. Taking into consideration the impact of this genre, the purpose of the research: "Talk show in the Albanian television landscape" is to identify the level of their developments on Albanian TVs, their impact on the audience, society and democracy, public interactivity and the new media inclusion. From this standpoint, this paper aims to introduce a new perspective in the field of the television analysis. It is also a research on the television through the talk show genre. The research is based on interviews and surveys with 31 anchormen of the main talk shows in Albania; TV programs and social media communication monitoring; archival materials such as photos, videos, tabs, laws and reports. The analysis includes even the audience and advertisement data for the three main televisions: Top Channel, TV Klan and Vizion Plus. The study is based on 74 monographs and publications, 5 PhD thesis and 57 research papers. We can mention from the above literature the authors that analyze this TV genre as Bernard Timberg, Andrew Tolson, Louann Haarman, Jason Mittell, Wayne Munson, Geoffrey Baym, Sonia Livingston, Jane Shuttac, Joshua Gamson, Ian Hutchby, Laura Grindstaff, Jeffrey P. Jones, Jonathan Gray, Jonathan Bignell, etc., and language, philosophy and communication authors, such as: Erving Goffman, Jürgen Habermas, John Searle, Marshall McLuhan, Umberto Eco, Pierre Bourdieu, Karl Popper, John Fiske, Giovanni Sartori, Noam Chomsky, Raymond Williams, Artan Fuga, Richard Hoggart, etc. Key words: Talk show; Speech act; Fresh talk, Infotainment, Trash show, Syndication talk show, Reality show.
