Executive Summary

This report is about “The Home Depot “. Which is the largest home improvement retailer in the USA? It has a headquarter in the Atlanta store. When it comes to the departmental and home improvement retailers, people tend to believe their services more than anything. In this report, we will talk about the IT security policies in the specific organization. Also, we will discuss the threats that can cause huge loses to the organization regarding their data and information security. We will also talk about the prevention and security of different type of attacks that breach the personal and private information of the organization. Like customers data and other important information. We will also discuss an example of a store which cause it a huge loss and what was the course of conduct of the organization to tackle the information security breach.

The home depot is the largest home improvement retailer store, firstly open in the USA. it is the best store to buy construction tools and other stuff. If you visit the store you will find all type of decorating, gardening and plumbing equipment. The co-founder of Home Depot is Arthur Blank, Bernard Marcus, Pat Farrah. it was founded in 1978. It has stores in around 2285 different location in Mexico, Canada and the USA. The CEO of the retailing store is Craig Menear.it has about 400,000 employees all around the world.

Stakeholders are the base of any organization. You must look forward to listening to your stakeholders. The stakeholder of Home depot is their customers, employees, investors, suppliers and communities. These stakeholders are very important. It is the responsibility of the authorities to take care of their stakeholders.
