CONCLUSION

The study of scientific and methodological literature on the problem led to the conclusion that the use of technical teaching aids in foreign language lessons makes it possible to present the material visually, improves the quality of education and reduces student fatigue. Technical teaching aids help the teacher in increasing the pace of presentation of the material and in the most complete satisfaction of the needs and curiosity of students.

The use of video materials is based mainly on the visual perception of information, creates a prototype of a foreign language environment and helps to master communicative competence in a foreign language without being in the country of the language being studied.

This is proved by our study conducted at the 15th school in the 8th grade. As the analysis shows, the students of the experimental group had 43% performance before the experiment and 75% after the experiment, and students' interest in the subject increased by 18%. Summing up the above, it can be argued that the use of video materials opens up wide opportunities for active work in the process of forming students' speech skills and abilities and makes the educational process of mastering a foreign language attractive for students at all stages of education.

The effectiveness of the use of video material in teaching speech depends not only on the exact definition of its place in the learning system, but also on how rationally the structure of the video lesson is organized, how the learning capabilities of the video material are coordinated with the learning objectives.

To solve each of the tasks set, students must know not only the general content of the video material, but also remember the details, as well as be able to evaluate events, characterize the actors, using words and expressions from the speech accompaniment of the video material. The use of audiovisual teaching aids, the exercises we proposed on the use of video materials help to improve the quality of learning in foreign language lessons, allow students to visualize the life, traditions, language realities of English-speaking countries and develop the motivation of students' speech activity.

Thus, the hypothesis put forward by us was confirmed, video materials in foreign language lessons really contribute to improving the assimilation of knowledge, help to fill the lack of a foreign language environment at all stages of education, broaden their horizons, and also educate students in aesthetic taste. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of the use of technical teaching aids, including video materials, that we have identified, made it possible to determine the conditions for increasing the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language:

- formation of positive motivation in learning a new language,

- benevolent and interested attitude to the country of the studied language, its culture and people;

- formation of students' ability to carry out both oral and written forms of communication;

- taking into account the age characteristics and interests of students;

- development of their creative abilities in the process of active cognitive activity.

I recommend that teachers, students in teaching practice, when conducting foreign language lessons, try to use video materials more widely in order to increase the effectiveness of teaching, expand vocabulary and develop students' attention, and in order to diversify the lesson.
