in elementary classes. At the present stage, the objectives of mathematics training in elementary
classes and the requirements for updating the content, structure and its building methods of math
course of elementary classes are also widely covered in the article. Formation and development of
mathematical thinking in students is more urgent. There are quite a few ideas in the article to
accomplish the application of mathematical knowledge.

В статье излагаются основные направления в методике ознакомления учеников
начальных классов с понятием число и операциями вычисления. В процессе формирования
математических понятий особое значение имеют два принципа, упомянутые в статье.
Эти принципы определяют методологические подходы к формированию понятий
число, цифра и операции вычисления в начальных классах. Также на современном этапе
широко освещаются цели математического обучения в начальных классах и требования к
обновлению содержания, структуры и методов создания математических курсов начальных
классов.
Формирование и развитие математического мышления учеников имеет широкую
актуальность. В статье отражены немало идей об использования математических знаний.

Education is a strategic foundation for the development of the individual, society, nation,
state and the guarantee of a successful future. The transformation of a post-industrial society into a
global information system, based not only on knowledge, but also on the competence of specialists,
significantly actualized the problem of innovative approaches to the organization of educational
processes. As a result, very high requirements are put forward for the education system under
modern conditions: it must prepare specialists for life and activity in a broad, dynamic, rapidly
changing world, where the person constantly faces non-standard tasks, the solution of which
presupposes the availability of skills and skills to build and analyze their own actions. The leading
place in this system is occupied by innovative methods of training students in the higher education
system, which in the future will be directly involved in the formation and implementation of
investment and innovation policies.
In the modern scientific literature devoted to the problems of management of innovative
processes in the sphere of educational activity, the complexity and multidimensionality of this process is
noted. Particular attention is focused on the fact that an innovative approach to the teaching of students
should be systematic and cover all aspects of teaching and educational work in the training of future
specialists, while the theoretical and practical approaches to the content of education, vocational and
teacher training of teachers, the development of new technologies and teaching methods.
As is known, the basis of innovative educational technologies used in the educational process
should be a social order, professional interests of future specialists, consideration of individual, personal
characteristics of students [2]. Therefore, when training specialists in higher education, the use of
innovative forms and methods must be organically combined with a pragmatic understanding of the
goals and objectives of education and training. In modern psychological and pedagogical literature it is
noted that innovative methods are reflected in many teaching technologies aimed at developing and
improving the teaching and upbringing process and training specialists for professional activities in
various spheres of life of modern society [3]. They create conditions for the formation and consolidation
of professional knowledge, skills and abilities of students, contribute to the development of professional
qualities of the future specialist. The use of innovative methods by teachers in the teaching process helps
to overcome stereotypes in teaching various disciplines, developing new approaches to professional
situations, developing creative and creative abilities of students.
Effective forms of educational work on the introduction of innovative processes in the
educational process and the formation of key professional competencies of future specialists is the
use of various active forms and methods of teaching: the creation of projects, the preparation of
public speeches, the discussion of professionally important problems, training in cooperation,
creating problem situations, training professionally directed video films and presentations, etc. The
