INTRODUCTION

Relevance of the topic: The question of the place of the theory of word formation in the system of linguistic sciences has long been a source of controversy for all linguists. Word formation has been included by linguists sometimes in the field of morphology, sometimes in the field of lexicology.
The opinion expressed by V.V. Vinogradov about the role of word formation in linguistics is instructive. According to him, while word formation is of great importance in the science of linguistics, it approaches lexicology - the science of the vocabulary of the language, and grammar - the doctrine of form formation and the syntax of word combinations. is also related to The number of supporters of this point of view is increasing day by day.
Currently, the process of formalizing the theory of word formation as an independent science requires a new approach to some concepts in this field, detailed confirmation of some word formation tools, and the development of analysis methods relevant to this field.
The purpose of the course work: Although sufficient attention is paid to the methods and tools of word formation in each language, comparative study of this issue has been done relatively little. Even in well-studied languages, word-forming tools have not been fully expressed. In addition, the fact that the work done in this field was carried out by using different research methods, with different goals and with different approaches to the studied phenomenon, makes it difficult or impossible to compare the research results for a certain language group. Problems of typological analysis mainly arise in the study of morphological features of different languages. Other aspects of the language structure have been relatively little studied from this point of view. For example, the study of universal phenomena in the field of lexis and semantics is at the first stage. "Despite the existence of specific lexical content, it is necessary to determine whether there are general lexical-semantic models characteristic of several language groups.
