• USRDS is a national data system funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
• USRDS collects, analyzes, and distributes information about the actual number of people with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) on dialysis or with a kidney transplant and the estimated number of people with CKD.
