Malyantovich, objecting the grandfather, I said that Vyshinsky — * the person with mean bents, the lawyer with very average knowledge and abilities, in addition he slightly burrs that makes impossible his performance by the lawyer on large processes. Whether the legend of Vyshinsky's talents is forged by him — counting on descendants? I, for example, authentically know from the grandfather and his relatives that I at the Vyshinsky university was plucked once. Malyantovich's shooting and others still the living lawyers, * protecting Stalin on the Batumi process? Whether accidentally Ekaterina Ivanovna hid the Batumi photo from the relatives? Perhaps, to me the single remained photo copy which Vyshinskoma didn't manage to be destroyed has got. I won't weary readers, I will open a secret of this of the third of the lost strokes to Vyshinsky's portrait. He is connected with a name of Lavrentiy Pavlovich Beria. * Lavrentiy Pavlovich has found the original way to I.V. Stalin's heart in the thirties. * Vyshinsky perfectly knew that during the Batumi working demonstration * the young leader, using employment of police, * plundered banks. Having appeared in prison among protesters, Stalin has tried to merge with them to receive political protection and to reduce punishment. Perhaps, in 1902 Vyshinsky * helped Stalin in its the first legal falsification? Perhaps, already then the great leader has estimated Vyshinsky's abilities to forge law?

What was to do to Vyshinsky in the late thirties when false historical information about the Batumi merits of the leader has overflowed the whole country? Perhaps, the decision has been prompted by Stalin. First, shooting of all living witnesses’ arrest of their relatives. Secondly, Vyshinsky had to hide carefully the participation in the Batumi process. It was unsafe to act as the living eyewitness of feats of the leader, to give an interview to inquisitive pioneers, etc.

When on February 7, 1937 in Alma-Ata have arrested my father, the grandfather has asked Vyshinsky for the help. Probably, it was a mistake. In September have arrested mother, and with the brother have placed us in transit children's colony. Us, sending to the children's camp waited. Sent to two places: on mines of Karaganda or the Far East. The grandfather has arrived from Minsk to Moscow, and by means of fearless Malyantovich he managed to get permission to take away us with the brother. Nobody such permissions was given. At the end of October, 1937 the grandfather has taken away us with the brother from Alma-Ata. We have arrived to the holiday decorated Moscow. On the same day the grandfather has learned that have arrested Malyantovich. After that every night the grandfather waited for arrest. He has died in February, 1938, having learned about execution of the only son. So Vyshinsky has thanked two main patrons in youth, - the grandfather and Malyantovich.
* To biographers it will be rather interesting to learn how the first-year student of law department of the Kiev university A.Ya. Vyshinsky in 1902 has suddenly appeared among the famous Russian lawyers on the Batumi process. * The solution is simple: my grandfather has taken him the assistant there (?!). Therefore in the photo Vyshinsky also costs at the grandfather behind the back. There was all this because of old friendship of the grandfather with N.K. Muravyev.
I will notice that much earlier, in 1891, Ants and the grandfather have been expelled from the Moscow university for revolutionary activity. Therefore they have graduated from the university external: Ants — in Kazan, the grandfather — in Kiev. In 1898 on the Kiev business of the grandfather have banished to the Narymsky region where he has nearly died of purulent appendicitis. Then he was sent abroad (to Switzerland).
We will address the Batumi photo again. Extreme on the right near my grandfather the lawyer political defender Boris Efimovich Ratner, famous in Russia — the permanent assistant N.K. Muravyeva sits. Muravyev on the Batumi process wasn't. But he has sent my grandfather and B.E. Ratner who was brilliantly talented and cleverest lawyer to Batumi.
