  • WH - word: Who

  • Auxiliary verb: is

  • Subject: leading

  • Main verb: the project

2. What are you cooking for dinner?

  • WH - word: What

  • Subject: you

  • Main verb: cooking for dinner


3. When will the meeting take place?

  • WH - word: When

  • Main verb: take place


4. Where did you find that interesting book?

  • WH - word: Where

  • Subject: you

  • Main verb: find

  • Additional information: that interesting book

  • WH- word: Why

  • Auxiliary verb: do

"There is" and "There are"
The construction "There is" and "There are" are used to indicate the existence or presence of something. It helps to introduce or point out the existence of people, places, or things.

- There is is used when referring to a singular item or a non-countable noun.


Example:
There is a cat on the roof.
- There are is used when referring to multiple items or countable nouns.
Example:
There are many books on the shelf.

The basic structure of these constructions is:



1. Affirmative:
- There is + singular noun/non−countable noun
Example:
There is a beautiful garden in the backyard.

-There are + plural nouns


Example:
There are three bedrooms in the house.

2. Negative:
- To form a negative sentence, add "not" after "is" or "are."
Example:
