If a spectrum has no calibration, than upper scale is not displayed.

X scale changing
The display of the main spectrum in a full X scale depends on the number of
configured channels of the measurement (1024, 2048, 4096, 8192 channels). It
may be changed in preset options of display
configuration

It is possible to increase or decrease display scale. If multiple spectra are shown
then the display scale on the X-axis is the same as for the main spectrum, while
on the Y-axis the display scale is determined by the highest histogram point.
X-scale can be changed using the buttons and scroll bars of the display panel,
buttons on the toolbar, main menu or context menu of plot panel or keyboard
cursor keys.
Condense X scale range

Expansion of the spectrum shows a picture in more details. There are two
methods to change the X-scale:
Using an icon button(s) expand (or condense) a picture in a way, that preset
marker positions (and the area they enclose) are preserved and are always
visible on the screen. Each pressing of the icon causes the number of
channels remaining between markers to decrease symmetrically on both sides
until marker reaches any panel border.
Pressing the button on the plot panel decreases the number of channels
displayed on the right proportionally to the current scale. The markers are
moved in the way that they are seen on screen all the time. To see the marked
part of the spectrum, scroll the window horizontally.
Expand X scale range

Y scale changing
By default, the spectrum is displayed in linear scale with vertical scale adjusted to
fit the highest peak in window. Changing the settings of configuration
Spectrum
display options
 can alter display mode.
It is possible to change scale type (linear/logarithmic) as well as its range. This
can be done using buttons on the toolbar, navigation features, main menu or
context menu of plot panel.
Automatic change of Y scale
icon:

menu: Screen | Y scale auto.
After performing this operation, Y scale is defined in a way that the highest peak
covers 80% of the spectrum window.
Set range of Y scale
icon:

menu: Screen | Set Y scale range.
This operation allows exact setting of upper and lower boundaries of the
displayed spectrum – only the part of the spectrum between those boundaries is
displayed.
To expand and squeeze the picture along Y-axis, use navigation buttons of the
plot panel (two buttons located in the lower-right corner and marked with up and
down facing arrows). Selected part of a spectrum may be moved with both
scrolling bars.

Markers
There are two markers implemented (the left – L and the Right – R), which are
displayed as the two thin vertical bars and may be moved across a spectrum
using either a mouse or a keyboard via
Cursor keys

When you position the cursor (via mouse) on the marker then the cursor shape is
changed either to
 left, or to
right. In this situation, you may move
selected marker independently from the other. When cursor is placed between
markers, than its shape is changed to
 and you move markers jointly.
If the cursor shape
  that
zooming
has been turned on and markers
cannot be moved. To move markers again, turn zoom off.
One marker can be moved either independently from the other or both markers
can be moved together with constant distance between them  – one marker
cannot go past the other and they are always present on the screen. Therefore,
setting the marker channel position beyond the screen causes the change the
displaying scale.
In ROI window below the spectrum, the position of markers is displayed (in
channel or energy) and the number of counts at these marker positions.

This operation opens a dialog box where you can set exact markers position (by
writing down channel numbers or energy).
