ABSTRACT 
 
The work titled "Azerbaijani Turkish Grammar I (Phonetics and Vocabulary)" prepared in Azerbaijani by 
İlkin  Gulusoy,  who  is  the  Head  of  the  Department  of  Contemporary  Turkish  Dialects  and  Literatures  at 
Kafkas University Faculty of Science and Literature, was written in Azerbaijani Turkish. It is a 166 page 
resource  book  consisting  of  reading  texts  and  a  dictionary,  as  well  as  mentioning  its  existence.  In  this 
study, in which document analysis method and filing technique were employed, it was aimed to present 
introductory information about the work in question and to make some suggestions to the source work. It 
is believed that this study will be a source for relevant department students and interlocutors interested 
in language and/or the field.
