В утвердительных предложениях перед прилаг-ми и наречиям можно использовать much/far too
He spoke much too fast.
They walked far too slowly to reach the top before sunset.
Конструкции со сравнениями
as + наречие +as –в утверд предлож-х, as/so + наречие+ as– в отрицат предлож
He worked as slowly as he dared He doesn’t snore as/so loudly as you do
It didn’t take so/as long as I expected
- than используется в сравнительной степени:
He eats more quickly than I do/ than me
He played better than he had ever played

- the + наречие в сравнит степени……. the + наречие в сравнит степени

Наречия места: away, everywhere, here, nowhere, somewhere, there, etc.
Наречия места используются в конце предложения (но перед наречиями времени):

Артикль – используется перед существительными и поясняют их. Есть два вида артиклей

the/a/an подойдет для всех родов
а –перед согласными звуками, an – перед гласными звуками:

an- употребляется перед аббревиатурами.

NOTE: если перед существительным есть прилагательное то артикль a / anзависит от первого звука прилагательного :

А. Перед исчисляемыми существительными в ед.числе о которых говорится в первый раз и не выражающие определенный предмет или лицо

В. Перед исчис. сущ-ми в ед.числе которые являются одним примером из целой группы похожих существительных и может относиться к любому существительному из целой группы:
A square has 4 sides. = All squares/Any square has 4 sides.
A child needs love. =All children need/Any child needs love.
A flower needs water = All flowers need water.

Much и little употребляются с неисчисляемыми существительными:
Many и few употребляются с исчисляемыми существительными:

A little / a few –мало но достаточно (положительное значение)

She knows a few words. (она знает несколько слов.)

little и few – мало совсем недостаточно (негативное значение)

He has few friends.
A little и a few показывают более позитивное отношение к небольшому количеству или числу:
(B) A lot (of) lots (of) plenty (of)
A lot of / lots of /plenty of употребляются с неисчисляемыми существительными и существительными во множественном числе:
a lot of milk lots of time plenty of money
Plenty часто используется в значении 'более чем достаточно':
- There's no need to worry. We'vegotplentyofmoney
Some иногда употребляется с исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе.
