Dr. Nadeem Kureshi is the founder director of SMERC (SME Research Center)
which conducts
research for productivity growth in Pakistan. He has worked for productivity enhancement with of
multinational organizations. His clients include, inter alia, United Nations (WEP), National Science
Foundation USA, KSB Pumps Aktiengesellschaft Germany, CDA, Kims Foods and several public sector and
military organizations. He has attended several scholarly events across the globe and has spoken at
conferences as key-note speaker. Dr Kureshi has formal practitioner certifications in Strategic
Management (Balanced Scorecard Master Professional), Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma (Black
Belt) and Quality Management (ISO-9000 Lead Auditor). He has authored 2 books, tiled "Quality
Management in SMEs: Diffusion of Innovations in Supply Chains" ISBN: 3846597082, 9783846597088;
and "A Handbook of Balanced Scorecard - Design and Implementation Guide for Practitioners". He has
more than 2 dozen scholarly publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences.

Mr. Abdul Qadeer Khan is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He is Associate Member of
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and Associate Member of The Association of The
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. Mr. Khan has been a Management Auditor
(Northern Region) in Hashoo Group Hotels, where he has been responsible for systems analysis and
reviews, identification of loop holes, systems improvements, business analysis and investment analysis.
Mr. Khan is also a member of the Audit Committee (a sub-committee of Board of Trustees) of Hashoo
Foundation. He has long association with KPMG Pakistan (KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co., Chartered
Accountants and has extensive experience of working in professional firms, where he had exposure in
Corporate Finance, Business Valuations, Business Analysis, Transactions Services & Risk Advisory
Services. Mr. Khan has also gathered specific experience in System Reviews, Diagnostic Reviews,
Business Performance Reviews and Internal/External/Investigative Audits.

Dr. Memoona Rauf Khan has had progressively responsible national and international public
sector experience of 10 years in Applied Economics in Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Michigan
State University, World Bank, International NGOs etc. In the development sector, she has done research,
monitoring, evaluation and organizational assessments in social science, agricultural and statistical
projects. She has a distinguished teaching record of 11 years. At CASE she has taught Quantitative
Methods, Research Methods and Proposal Development and is a major resource for M.Sc and PH.D
students. She has also taught Economics courses (Business, Development, Mathematical, Micro and
Macro), International Trade Theory, Poverty Alleviation etc.

4) Dr. Murtaza Mir has over 15 years of experience in engineering and technology management.
Dr. Mir has held the positions of analyst/algorithm developer, software engineer, systems engineer,
project manager and program manager. Dr. Mir has been working as a project director and he has been
involved in design, development, production, integration, deployment, repair and support activities of
high tech Avionics equipment. His research interests include technological forecasting, sociopolitical
impacts of technology, long term planning,
policy research, simulation and modeling of management
systems, analysis of social networks and behavioral aspects of research and technology management.

5) Mr. Muhammad Umer has eleven years of National and International experience in
Engineering Management, Project Management, Supply Chain and Logistics. Despite being an Engineer
he has been extensively involved in key areas like; Procurement of Project Material, Inventory control,
Rate contract Finalization, Vendor Development/ Sourcing , ERP/BPR, Use of IT in Supply Chain
Optimization, Systems Optimization and Manufacturing Systems design with Multinational giants like
Eurocopter, Bell Helicopters, Textron Lycoming, Rolls Royce. He completed his Masters in “Engineering
Management” from C.A.S.E, in 2006. As a Technology Enthusiast, he also has a “Certificate in
Nanotechnology” (2006-2007) from “Stanford University”. He is currently a PhD Candidate at N.U.S.T at
SMME (School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering) in which he is researching in possible
Neural Network Augmentation of an optimization algorithm known as ‘Ant Colony Optimization”. Since
his return in 2009, he has contributed to Pakistan’s Academia and Industry in various capacities. His
consultancy in Pakistan encompasses Corporate Trainings all over the country in areas of Supply Chain
(both basic and advanced versions) to the participants from Pharmaceutical Industry, Glass Fabrication
Industry, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army, KRL, Logistics Service Providers, KSB Pumps, Shifa Hospital,
Textile Industry, Academia etc…. Moreover, recently he has also been nominated by Harvard
University as their “External Proctor” for distance learning students for the Asian Region.

Mr. Asad Naveed is a PMP-Certified Telecom Engr having over 20 years of rich International
experience in various areas of Telecommunications and Information Technology industries. Mr. Asad has
foreign and accredited Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has contributed in a number of
Fortune 500 and other multinationals in Saudi Arabia, USA, Canada and Pakistan. He is contributing in
Telecom sector and previously he has been the Vice President (Professional Development) in PMI
Islamabad Chapter. In addition, he acted as a Visiting Faculty in International Islamic University, and he
is a Freelance PMP & Telecom Trainer. Before joining CASE as a permanent faculty member, he
contributed for over 5 years in CASE as a visiting faculty.
