1997 Hódi Tóth József HUN from seed of a plant living in

Cheobu-ri, Ullung-do, toward Senginbong 700 m ,

South Korea S-KOR /leg. Rick Lewandowski,

Morris Arboretum, Philadelphia, USA/

Arizonica Arboretum, Csákvár HUN

A living evidence for a new discovery: Pinus parviflora lives

also on the continent. The expedition of Morris Arboretum

found in 1991 and gives a description.

Needles less silverly strips, shorter, middle-green. Buds colour

like a deer. Drought tolerant, hardy.

Original plant in Arizonica Arboretum, Csákvár

Szárazságtűrése fantasztikus, öntözve kétszer is beindul.
