Bomb Points for IELTS Speaking Part 1.
What do you usually do together with your visitors?
When we have visitors over, we usually sit and chat, discuss the day's happenings or any social or national issues. Sometimes we share jokes and have a good laugh and all this happens usually over of a cup of tea or coffee and some snacks. Sometimes we also have visitors over for lunch or dinner.
Do you often have dreams at night?
Yes, I often have dreams at night. Sometimes I have very pleasant dreams, and sometimes I have bad dreams. But have never seen them turn into really. I'm not really superstitious about these dreams
What was the strangest dream you have had?
The strangest dream I had was that I am going for my wedding, and things are going wrong and I can't, and then I get up and feel so relieved that it was a dream.
What is the most popular colour in your country?
Uzbekistan is a vast country, That's why, it is difficult to generalize one color as the most popular. I think all colours are equally popular, but the four colours of a national flag are the most popular. Blue represents water, white stands for peace, two-red-stripes symbolize the power of life and green is the colour of nature and new life. It also means to have good harvest
Do colours affect your mood?
Yes, they are affectionate for my mood. When I see bright colours I feel energetic but light colours make me feel calm.
Describe a photo you have taken
You should say

  • Where you took it

  • When you took the photo

  • What/who is in the photo

  • How you felt about the photo

I am going to talk about a photo that I took some years ago when my family went on holiday on the coast of Zarafshan river. The picture captured the memory of a very happy family. This is a priceless possession to me and I would like to keep it with me for the rest of my life. I have seen it thousands times and still I look at it with an indescribable delight. In the picture, everyone was smiling cheerfully. My father's eyes were sparkling and the corners of his eyes crinkled. To tell the truth, it was very rare to see my father's smile as he always kept a serious facial expression. Needless to say, my mother was standing next to him with warm happiness glowing in her face. My younger brothers and sisters were not really photogenic because they were bursting out laughing for a reason I could not remember clearly. In the back ground, the sun looked like it was gradually receding into the waters below. The sky consisted of an assortment of shades, a blend of reds, oranges and yellows. The water below was mirroring this effect. The scene was beautiful. I have to admit that I know very little about the technical aspects of camera and to be honest I take photos from my own preference rather than maintaining aspects a professional photographer would do. Though the photo was not professionally shot, it is still the most treasured photo I could have.
