GENERAL TERMS: 1. The Small Forms Biennial (SFB) is a traditional and established forum for presenting the contemporary trends and achievements in the field of painting, graphics and sculpture in fine arts. 2. The Ninth Biennial is again with international participation. This defines the changes in the organization, the awards, the conditions for participation and the conduct of the biennial.
1. Co-organizers of SFB are the Municipality of Pleven, “Iliya Beshkov” Art Gallery, the Union of Bulgarian Artists, the Ministry of Culture, the International Foundation “St. St. Kiril and Metodiy”, Representation of the Union of Artists - Pleven. 2. The Biennial is held under the patronage of the Mayor of the Municipality of Pleven. 3. The organization and the conduct of the biennial are carried out by the Iliya Beshkov Art Gallery in cooperation with the Representation of the Union of Artists in Pleven. 4. All activities are funded by an approved budget and sponsored funds. 5. For the selection of the works and the designation of the awarded authors, a jury shall be appointed, involving representatives of UBA and Pleven Municipality. 7. The Ninth Biennale of Small Forms - Pleven 2018 will be opened in the halls of the “Iliya Beshkov” Art Gallery on October 26, Friday, 2018 from 18.00 and lasts until December 21, 2018. 8. A catalog is published for the presentation of the participants in the Biennale. 9. The working languages ??of the Bienial are Bulgarian and English.
1. The jury nominates five (five) authors for the individual sections - painting, graphics, sculpture and a young author / up to 35 years /. Award winners are nominated as follows: 2. Grand Prize of the Municipality of Pleven - 1500 BGN and diploma. 3. The winner of the prize is entitled to a solo exhibition during the next edition of SFB - 2020. 4. UBA Award - 1,200 BGN and diploma. 5. Award of the International Foundation "St. st. Kiril and Metodiy "- 1000 BGN and diploma. 6. Award of the jury - 1000 BGN and diploma. 7. Award for a foreign author - 900 BGN and diploma. 8. Four equal prizes of 900 BGN and diplomas - for the separate sections and for a young author. § IV. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION: 1. Professional artists from all countries that have accepted the terms of this statute have the right to participate. 2. Artists are free to choose their own theme and technique. 3. Suggested works must be created in the last 2 years. They must not have participated and awarded in other national and international forums. 4. Each author may participate in no more than two works in each of the sections. 5. Authors who participate in more than one section pay a fee for each individual. 6. Authors accepting this status consent to the sale of their works, 30% commission to the organizers. For this purpose, each author shall indicate in the declaration the selling price in euro from which the said percentages are deducted. 7. All awarded participants declare in writing their consent to the donation of the prize-winning work that becomes the property of the gallery. At the Jubilee 10th edition of SFB will be opened an exhibition of donated prizes from all editions. 8. The participation of artists shall be determined by the selection committee referred to in § II

Authors not paying the fee are not allowed to participate in the exhibition. 1. The works submitted must have the maximum dimensions: 2. for painting - up to 60/60 cm, for graphics - up to 30/30 cm, for sculpture - up to 60/60/60 cm. 3. It is desirable that the graphic prints should be without frames and glasses. 4. The works must be well fortified, packaged and addressed legibly. 5. On the back of the work, the author should indicate in Bulgarian or English his / her name, title of the work, size, material, year of creation. hgib@mail.bg http://www.plevengallery.com 6. Each author sends with his / her works a completed participation form, which can be downloaded from the gallery's site, which in capital letters he writes: a/ name, surname b/ year of birth c/ full and accurate address d/ explicit declaring that it donates or the work e/ sale price of the work 7. The works are sent by post or by courier to the address of the gallery at the expense of the author. 8. Organizers guarantee the security of the resulting works and do not assume responsibility for lost or damaged during transportation. 9. - For the foreign artists, the organizers are obliged to return /on their own account/ the non-donated works within one month after the closing of the exhibition. - For the Bulgarian authors the organizers are obliged to return / on their own account / the non-donated works within one month after the closing of the exhibition. Those who wish to do so can personally receive their works from the Gallery. 10. Every participant in SFB receives a free catalog of the exhibition. 11. The full list of the participants and reproductions of their works are presented on the website of the Ilia Beshkov Art Gallery - http://www.plevengallery.com 12. The Organizing Committee of SFB reserves the right to reproduce the jury works and to publish them in its own editions. 13. Deadline for receipt of the works: 14.
