Foreign Policy of Uzbekistan is a Policy of Peace The principal aim of sovereign Uzbekistan’s foreign policy is maintenance of world and regional peace and peaceful co-existence with ail states. It is a part of state policy and is a laid down in the Constitution of Uzbekistan. Article 17 of the Constitution runs:the Republic of Uzbekistan shall have full rights in international ions. Its foreign policy shall be based on the principles of sovereign equality of the states, non-use of force or threat of its use, inviolability of fron­tiers, peaceful settlement of disputes, non-interference affairs of other •.fates, and other universally recognized ns of international law».
