Abstract
The method for determining the efficiency coefficient of antitank
weapons

In the paper the essence of the problem of determining the efficiency coefficient of antitank
arms has been disclosed, the method for showing the efficiency coefficient as a linear combination
of their tactical-technical characteristics and determining the efficiency coefficient of new weapons
of the same category has been offered. By using this model the efficiency coefficients for several
antitank arms have been calculated andcompared with existing data, the adequacy of constructed
mathematical model has been proved. At the same time, with the purpose of investigating the
“discrepancy” between linear correlation factors and influence of tactical-technical characteristics on
the efficiency of the weapons, the correlation dependence between each characteristic and efficiency
coefficient have been studied, Pirson’s correlation coefficients line has been calculated for the same
parameters. The dependence of efficiency coefficient on combat characteristics – fire power of the
weapon, mobility, durability and application, as well as their dependence on tactical-technical
characteristics have been modelled.
