At Dundee the seventeenth day of February Eighteen hundred and seventy four years

John Whytock Deacon and William Bisset Boxmaster of the Hammerman Trade of Dundee

Which day John Dick Tinsmith Dundee was admitted and received a free Master of the said Hammerman Trade both he and his representatives and free Apprentices. It being hereby declared that the said John Dick shall not be entitled by the present entry to do any work belonging to any other arts or branches of the said Hammerman Trade but are restricted to that sort of work which properly applies to and is ordinarily wrought by a Blacksmith allenarly. And the said John Dick having given his oath of fidelity to the Trade in common form, signs these presents along with the Deacon the necessary adhesive Stamps being previously affixed hereto. And the Clerk was instructed to give Mr Bisset Extracts.

Which day Frederick John Whytock Jeweller 46 High Street Dundee and John Bisset Saddler Reform Street Dundee, Mr Whytock being the son of Deacon Whytock and Mr Bisset son of Ex deacon Bisset were admitted and received free Masters and Members of the Hammerman Trade both they and their respective representatives and free apprentices being hereby declared that the said Frederick John Whytock shall not be at liberty to do any other work belonging to any other acts or branches of said Hammerman Trade but is restricted to that work which properly applies to and is ordinarily wrought by Watch Makers and Jewellers allenarly and the said John Bisset shall not be at liberty to do any other work belonging to any other acts or branches of said Hammerman Trade but is restricted to that work which properly applies to and is ordinarily wrought by a Saddler allenarly. And the said Frederick John Whytock and John Neish Bisset having given their oaths of fidelity on common form sign these presents along with the Deacon and Boxmaster.
