TAP is the European leg of the Southern Gas Corridor and will 
transport natural gas from the Shah Deniz II field in Azerbaijan 
to Europe. 
The approximately 878 km long pipeline will connect with the 
Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Turkish-Greek border 
at Kipoi, cross Greece and Albania and the Adriatic Sea, before 
coming ashore in Southern Italy.

Production Scheme: the drilling campaign started in February 
2018  using  the  new  semi-sub  drilling  rig  Heydar  Aliyev, 
entirely built in Azerbaijan; the first gas is planned to feed the 
domestic market in 2020.  
Total is also shareholder of the BTC Company, securing export 
capacity of the crude oil production in the region. BTC pipeline 
links Baku to Ceyhan in Turkey. 
In other hand, since 1996, Total has been mobilized directly 
in the development of Azerbaijan in the fields of Education, 
Health and Art.
