Palaces as syMBols of first World War
Simbols contribute to the functioning of historical memory. Symbols incorporated the memory of the First World
War distinguishes a paradoxical combination of old epoch and modernity images. Palaces are among them:
palaces as buildings of international authorities, places of signing important documents, hospitals, concentration
camps, Music-halls.
