in terms of security and stability 
(summary) 
 
The article deals with global changes made by the great powers, and their 
efforts to form unipolar world system after the collapse of the Soviet Union. The 
article analyses the security and stability sides of the system and indicates the 
opinions of the famous political experts about the problem. The article also 
analyses the division of the power among leading countries according to the index 
of GDP, military expenses and correlates of war (COW), and shows the positive

and negative aspects of the unipolar world system which the United States has been 
trying to form since late 20th century, using opportunities of the globalization.

Анализ однополярного мира с точки зрения  
безопасности и стабильности 
(резюме) 
 
В статье исследуются попытки формирования системы однополярного 
мира  в  условиях  изменений  в  соотношении  сил  после  распада  Советского 
Союза. Автор проводит анализ системы однополярного мира с точки зрения 
безопасности  и  стабильности  с  привлечением  к  нему  подходов  известных 
исследователей. Кроме того, в статье проводится сравнительный анализ рас-
пределения  силы  по  индексу  военной  корреляции  и  внутренней  продукции, 
военных  расходов  в  различные  исторические  периоды. Приводятся  положи-
тельные  и  отрицательные  стороны  системы  однополярного  мира,  который, 
пользуясь  преимуществами  глобализации,  пытались  сформировать  США  в 
конце прошлого века.

Tek kutuplu dünya sisteminin güvenlik 
 ve istikrar açısından analizi 
(özet) 
 
Makalede büyük güçlerin güdümünde olan küreselleşme ve Sovyetlerin çö-
küşünden sonra söz konusu güçlerin tek kutuplu bir dünya biçimlendirilmek için 
sarfettikleri çabalar incelemektedir. Makale dünya sisteminin güvenlik ve istikrar 
yönlerini analiz etmekte ve konuyla ilgili ünlü siyaset uzmanlarının görüşlerini ak-
tarmaktadır. Yazar aynı zamanda, kişi başina düşen gelir dağılımına ve askeri har-
camalara göre öncü ülkeler arasındaki güç dağılımını analiz etmekte ve ABD`nin 
20. yüzyılın sonundan itibaren küreselleşmenin imkanlarını kulanarak biçimlendir-
meğe çalıştığı tek kutuplu dünya sisteminin olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerini göster-
mektedir.
