The aim of the lesson:
Educational: - According to the lesson’s educational purpose improve pupils’ personal qualities like behavior, education etc. to raise awareness of types of writing and use them properly Developing: - According to the lesson’s educational purpose develop pupils’ personal skills, English learning, motivational skills, to develop writing skills
Socio-cultural: -to raise awareness of other cultures, teaching to respect them
Competence: SC2, FLCC and PC in writing
Learning outcomes: At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to write informally and formally, use speacial vocabulary; use linking words
Type of the lesson: non-standard, mixed

1. Link the following sentences with appropriate linking words. Usually joking around is not a good sign. Comic relief is always good when situations get too serious when it doesn’t need to be.




  1. Keep the conversation clear if you need to. Usually there are no limitations.

  2. Formal speech is more accurate. Informal speech is the opposite.

  3. My business partner kept formal speech. He was one of my best friend.
