Robert Gardyne ye Blaksmyth Patrick Gilbert The 5 of May 1657 ther was admitted at Dundie Wpone the same Day Compeiritt Andreu Doge Lauful sone to Robert Doge In manner of Migall presence of Androu Taillore the Deacone of the hamrmen Craft of the said brugh and the greatest pairt of the remnant Brethren of the said Craft Conevened for the tyme for the effect underwritten and became ane free prentice and servant to Androw Taillor present Deacon to Whyome he is Master of the said Craft to hamermen qll the said Androw Doge obliges him and all belonges him Comforme to his Indenter that Incasse of failtie they are liable of any prejudice qll the forsaid Androu sall Comitt And also ther are bund for the service of him for 5 complyt years and ane yeir heirefter for mitt and fie and the said Androu Doge gives his Oath of fidelitie onform to the order of the hamermen Craft In the resence of the forsaid Deacon and Counsell and the most pairt of the remnant brethren of the samen Convenit for the tyme and ane Act of Instrument taken upone the prenisse. Androw Dog In witness because he could not wrett I have subscryvitt Dundie 19th August 1693 years The whilk day in presence of George Ramsay Blacksmith and present Deacon of th hambermen Craft of Dundie and remanent Members of the sds Craft. compeared Collin Crockat lawll son to James Crockat frie Master of the sd craft and entered himself prentise to Jacob Dalhousie jewler and goldsmith for the space of five years and ane year for meat and fie according to the former Acts insert in this locked book jeweller and goldsmith who hath given his Oath of Fifdelitie to his sd Master and Deacon & brethren of craft. Compeared Charles Dickson lawful son to Charles Dickson lately Goldsmith in Dundie now in Edinburgh and was admitted and received a free Master as Gold Smith in the said Hammerman Trade both he and his representatives and Apprentices after him being Burgesses as use is the said Charles Dickson younger gave his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he has subscribed thir presents in face of the Trade place and date forsaid.
