The said Robert Nimmo having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade.

Which day Andrew Small son of the deceast James Small Cowfeeder in Dundee was admitted and received a free Master as a White Iron smith or Tin Plate Worker both he and his representatives after him being Burgesses as use is. The said Andrew Small and his aforesaids shall not be at liberty by his present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to and is ordinarily wrought by a White Iron Smith or Tin Plate Worker allenarly and the said Andrew Small having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade.

Which day Abram Middleton Plumber in Dundee was admitted and received a free Master as a Plumber, White Iron Smith Copper Smith & Founder both he and his representatives and free Apprentices being Burgesses as use is. The said Abram Middleton and his aforesaids shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Plumber, White Iron Smith, Coppersmith or Founder allenarly. and the said Abram Middleton having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade

The said John Justice and his aforesaids shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Blacksmith allenarly. and the said John Justice having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade

The said William Young and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Clock & Watch Maker allenarly. and the said William Young having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade. The said William Bisset and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Saddler allenarly. and the said William Bisset having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade. It being hereby Declared that the said William Murray and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade. but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Blacksmith. and the said and the said William Murray having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade. And a Duplicate of this Entry written on a Twenty shillings Stamp conform to Law has likewise been subscribed by the Deacon & delivered to the said William Murray.

And the said and the said James Donaldson having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade. And a Duplicate of this Entry written on a Twenty shillings Stamp conform to Law has likewise been subscribed by the Deacon & delivered to the said James Donaldson .

Which day Alexander McLagan Saddler in Dundee Son of the deceased Alexander McLagan Saddler there and late Member of the Trade (10th December 1773) was in right of his said father admitted and received a free Master of the said Hammerman Trade as a saddler both he and his representatives and free Apprentices being Burgesses as use is. it being declared that the said Alexander McLagan and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a saddler. And the said and the said Alexander McLagan having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade. And a Duplicate of this Entry written on a Twenty shillings Stamp conform to Law has likewise been subscribed by the Deacon & delivered to the said Alexander McLagan.

Which day James Robertson Clock & Watch Maker in Dundee a member of the Trades (11th June 1785 was in addition to the former branch and is hereby authorised and permitted to carry on and exercise the Art or branch of Goldsmith & Jeweller both he and his representatives and free Apprentices being Burgesses as use is. it being declared that the said James Robertson and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Clock & Watch Maker and Goldsmith & Jeweller allenarly. And the said and the said James Robertson having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in having given his Oath of fidelity in common form signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade.

Which day William Constable Clock & Watch Maker in Dundee a member of the Trades (26th Novr 1806) was in addition to the former branch & is hereby authorised and permitted to carry on and exercise the Art or branch of Goldsmith & Jeweller both he and his representatives and free Apprentices being Burgesses as use is. it being declared that the said William Constable and his aforesaid shall not be at liberty by this present Entry to do any work belonging to the other Arts or Branches of the Hammerman Trade but are restricted to that sort of work which properly belongs to & is ordinarily wrought by a Clock & Watch Maker and Goldsmith & Jeweller allenarly. And the said and the said William Constable having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade.

And the said and the said John Calman having given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade signs these presents along with the Deacon in presence of the Trade. a Duplicate of this entry written on a forty shillings stamp conform to Law had likewise been subscribed by the Deacon. And delivered to the said John Calman.
