Compeared personally Thomas Langlands lawful son to Thomas Langlands in Tibber Mujir and late Servant to John Flight Blacksmith in Dundee. And was admitted and received a free Master as a Sadler. Both he and his representatives after him being Burgesses as use is. The said Thomas Langlands gave his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he has subscribed these presents place & date above in face of the said Hammerman Trade.

The said James Dick having married Jean Rough Daughter of James Rough Hammerman Dundee the said James Dick has given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he has subscribed these presents place & date above in face of the said Hammerman Trade.

And was admitted and received a free Master as a Copper Smith. The said George Black has given his Oath of fidelity to the said Trade in common form and he has subscribed these presents place & date above in face of the said Hammerman Trade.

And subscribes these presents along with the Deacon in face of the Trade.
