Rug- a piece of thick heavy cloth smaller than a carpet.

Switch on-to start a device (opp. Switch off)

Turn on- to start the Tv or phone, radio. ( opp. Turn off)

Relax- to become calm and comfortable. E.g. I just want to sit down and relax

Hairdresser- a person who cuts and styles hair. e.g. She went to the hairdresser 's and had cut her hair

Bank clerk- a person employed in a bank to deal with customers. E.g. She was a bank clerk until the war, when she trained as a nurse.

Librarian- a person who works in a library. E.g. She worked as a librarian before switching to journalism
