9 10 11 Yüz il bundan əvvəl, 1911ci ildə əsasən yerli və xarici neft şirkətləri komandaları nın iştirakı ilə Azərbaycanda ilk futbol çempionatı keçirilmişdir. Milli futbolumuzun 100 illiyi Azərbaycanın ictimai həyatında əlamətdar hadisədir. Bu münasibətlə bütün futbol azarkeşlərini təbrik edirəm. Ötən dövrdə futbol xalqımızın ən sevimli idman növlərindən birinə çevrilmiş, ümumxalq xarakterli oyunlardan olmuşdur. Milli futbol ənənələri yaranmış, məşhur oyunçu, məşqçi və hakimlər yetişmişdir. Dünya futboluna Ələkbər Məmmədov, Anatoli Banişevski kimi futbolçular, Tofiq Bəhramov və Eldar Əzimzadə kimi hakimlər bəxş etmiş Azərbaycanda futbolun inkişafı üçün hərtərəfli şərait yaradılmışdır. Respublikamıza rəhbərlik etdiyi bütün illər ərzində digər sahələrlə yanaşı idmanın, o cümlədən futbolun tərəqqisinə dəyərli töhfələr verən ümummilli lider Heydər Əliyev futbolçularımızın peşəkarlıq səviyyəsinin artırılmasını və sosial qayğılarının həll edilməsini daim diqqət mərkəzində saxla mışdır. Ulu öndərimizin siyasi kursunun ən layiqli davamçısı Azərbaycan Respub likasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev futbolun yüksəlişinə dövlət gənclər siyasətinin prioritet sahələrindən biri kimi böyük önəm verir. “Azərbaycan Respublikasında 20052015ci illərdə Futbolun İnkişafına dair Dövlət Proqramı” bunun bariz nümunəsidir. Dövlət Proqramı bir neçə ildir, uğurla həyata keçirilir, futbolun inkişafı naminə ölkəmizdə indiyədək misli görünməmiş, genişmiqyaslı işlər aparılır. Fəaliyyətində 3 meyarı – kütləvilik, təhsil və infrastrukturu əsas götürən AFFA Dövlət Proqramının əsas icraçılarından olaraq bu istiqamətdə səylərini artırmış, bir çox mühüm layihələrə imza atmışdır. Beynəlxalq futbol təşkilatlarının dəstəyi ilə Azərbaycanda ilk dəfə olaraq Futbol Akademiyası yaradılmışdır. Uşaq futbo lunun inkişaf etdirilməsi məqsədi ilə ölkənin ayrıayrı bölgələrində “Top Festivalı”, “Məktəbli kuboku” yarışları keçirilir, uşaq futbol məktəbləri yaradılır, qızlar üçün yay futbol məktəbləri təşkil olunur. Eyni zamanda infrastrukturun yenilənməsi və müasir standartlara uyğunlaşdırılması istiqamətində fəaliyyət sürətlənmişdir. Geniş tutumlu bir neçə stadionun inşasına başlanılmış, 70ə yaxın süni örtüklü meydança tikilərək istifadəyə verilmişdir. Yubiley tədbirləri çərçivəsində 65 min nəfərlik Olimpiya stadionunun təməli qoyulacaq, habelə Mərdəkanda 5 min nəfərlik stadion istismara veriləcəkdir. Bir sözlə, bu gün Azərbaycan futbolunun gələcək uğurlarının əsası yaradılır. İnanırıq ki, 100 illik zəngin ənənələrə malik Azərbaycan futbolu qarşıdakı illərdə öz inkişafının yeni mərhələsinə qədəm qoyacaq, dünya və Avropa futboluna daha sıx inteqrasiya edərək, beynəlxalq mövqelərini gücləndirəcək, ölkəmizin idman uğurlarını durmadan yüksəldəcəkdir. AFFAnın futbol ictimaiyyətinə yubiley töhfəsi olan bu kitab milli futbolumuzun bir əsrlik inkişaf tarixinin əsas məqamlarını əks etdirir. Əminəm ki, kitab çoxsaylı futbolsevərlər tərəfindən rəğbətlə qarşılanacaq, Azərbaycan futbol məktəbinin şanlı ənənələrinin öyrənilməsində, futbolçularımızın yeni nəslinin yetişməsində müsbət rol oynayacaqdır. The teams that took part in this event were mostly made up of local and foreign oil workers. The 100 year anniversary of national football in Azerbaijan is a remarkable and historic event for Azeri culture. I would like to congratulate and thank all the Azeri football fans for their support over the years and for their vital contribution to 100 years of football in Azerbaijan. Over the years, football has become Azerbaijan’s favourite sport, and has developed into a game with a strong national identity. National football tra ditions have been developed as well as famous players, coaches and refere es. Azerbaijan has developed and showcased to the world great footballers such as Alekber Mammadov and Anatoliy Banishevskiy, famous referees such as Tofig Bahramov and Eldar Azimzade and together with these notable persoanlities has created a wonderful environment for the development of football in Azerbaijan. During Heydar Aliyev’s leadership of Azerbaijan, as well as other social areas much attention was paid towards the progress of sport in Azerbaijan and in particular, football. National Leader, Heydar Aliyev always focussed on the growth of the social sphere in the country and paid close attention to solving any problems that may have arisen. The worthy successor of The National Leader, the current President of the Azerbaijan Republic, Ilham Aliyev highly values the development of football as one of the priority areas for the overall development of the Azerbaijani youth. “The State program for football development in the Republic of Azerbaijan 2005 – 2015” is proof that the President is committed to implementing progress in this area. This state programme, which has been established for several years is succssefully being put into action across the country, and to date new projects are constantly being carried out. Using this state program as a base, AFFA being the main contributing body in this area, has strengthened its work in 3 main directions: large scale participation, education and infrastructure. A large number of projects have been implemented within these three fields. With the support of the International Football organisation, for the first time in Azerbaijan a Football Academy was established. With the aim of developing children’s football, the “Ball Festival” and the “Pupil’s cup” competitions are being carried out in different regions of the country. In addition, football schools for children and girls are also being established. At the same time, a great amount of work has commenced towards the renewal of infrastructure bringing it up to modern high standards. The construction of several new multiseating stadiums has begun, as well as the completion of approximately 70 artificial grass covered football fields. As part of this jubilee event, the foundation of the 65,000 seat Olympic stadium will be laid, together with the 5,000 seat stadium that will be built in Merdakan. Today the foundations are being laid for the future succes ses of Azerbaijani football. We believe that Azerbaijani football with already a 100 years of tradition, will in the future step into a new stage of development. We believe that Azerbaijani football will closely integrate with European football, will strengthen its inter national positions, and finally, will increase the successes of Azerbaijani sport altogether. This book, which is a wonderful present to the football community from AFFA, reflects upon the main events in the history of a century’s worth of football development. I am sure that this book will be recieved warmly by the many football fans, and I hope that this book will allow us to study the great path of Azeri football and will play a positive role in the development of a new genera tion of football players.
