RUGBY

RUGBY
Rugby is now a most popular game in the world. Rugby is governed by rugby laws, not by rules. It’s played by an oval shaped ball, in a large football field.
Rugby game played by an oval ball between two teams of 15 players (in rugby union) or 13 players (in rugby league). Both rugby union and rugby league have their origins within the sort of football played at Rugby School in England.
Rugby is governed by laws, not by rules. During a nutshell, when a tackle is formed in rugby the wants are that the tackler releases the tackled player. Who then releases the ball in order that players who are on their feet can use it.
Advantage simply means when one team makes a mistake the opposite team can attempt to maximize it, rather than the referee immediately stopping the action. If the players can’t maximize the error, play restarts where the first mistake happened.
Specific offside laws exist for various phases of play. But essentially players can’t be involved if they’re ahead of a teammate who last played the ball. Or are behind the ball when the opposition has it.
Basic rules of rugby :
In 1823, William Webb Ellis, a pupil at Rugby School, defied the conventions of the day. The ball may only be kicked forward to pick up the ball and run with it in a game. Thus creating the distinct handling game of rugby.
This “historical” basis of the sport was well established by the first 1900 s. About an equivalent time that foundation myths were invented for baseball and Australian rules football. While it’s known that Webb Ellis was a student at Rugby School at the time.
There’s no evidence of the particular event’s having taken place, though it had been cited by the Old Rugbeian Society in an 1897, Nevertheless, Rugby School.
Whose name has been given to the game , was pivotal within the development of rugby. And therefore the first rules of the sport that became rugby union were established there in 1845.

How to play rugby :
The sport is played with 2 teams, each team consisting of 15 players. Each team can carry, pass or kick the ball to the top zone to attain as many points as possible. The team scoring the greater number of points is that the winner of the match.
The 2 teams compete for 2 forty minute halves with a five minute halftime. One referee controls the match with the help of two touch judges.
There are not any time outs, except at the referee’s discretion where he can allow one minute for an injured player to make a decision whether or to not still play.
Each team is merely allowed seven replacements per game. Six of the replacements are at the teams discretion and a seventh for injury. Once a player is substituted, he can’t rejoin the sport .
The sole time a player can rejoin the sport is that if he was temporarily substituted for a blood injury. But he must return within ten minutes of the substitution or be permanently replaced.
