ABSTRACT
The purpose and objectives of the study are to identify the problems
of poetic translation in a
comparative
typological aspect, to describe the foundations of the
theoretical approach when
translating from one language to another, to analyze and compare poetic works of Uzbek poets in the
original in Uzbek and translations in English. This material and the analysis can be used as a particular
course on the theory and practice of translation, a textbook for students of philological faculties and
faculties of foreign languages.
