the essence of HRM issues of
Taiwanese companies in Vietnam, thereby to figure out
the preferable strategies that can overcome the difficulty in HRM.

Research Purpose
The purpose of this study to clarify the matters of HRM of Taiwan-based
enterprises in Vietnam through by inquiring about Vietnamese culture, stage of
economic
development, in addition, through the in-depth interview with Taiwanese
expatriate in Vietnam who are working in Vietnam or have working experiment in
Vietnam in before to understand the original HRM issues
that Taiwanese companies
face with. From the fact of matters as well as linking the reliable theories to find out the
solutions and HRM strategies that adapt to Vietnamese culture, government policy,
working environment,
and labors’
market as well. In short, the
purpose of this research
can be dividing in two main parts that are (1) HRM issues of Taiwan-based companies
in Vietnam and (2) HRM strategies of Taiwan-based enterprises in Vietnam.
