overcome with difficulties such as employ local managers, offer training and

programs, and implement incentive and compensation policy to
employees. The interview questions were given to participants via email, Line in order
to communicate conveniently. Owing to bring about Taiwanese
participants response
smoothly, the interview questions were translated into Chinese and send to them in
advance.
3.1.3 Procedure
Researcher took the first step to one more confirm the purpose of the research
paper and come up with the interview questions that makes sense with
the literature
review part, follow step will be found out suitable participants and invited them
participate in-depth interview, and Taiwanese expatriate managers in Vietnam are good
selection for this interview. Afterward, the researcher sent the
interview questions with
Chinese version to participants, of course that the interview questions have reviewed by
professor. Due to the geographical distance, researcher has
arranged different time for
each participant to interview.
Prior to the interview, the researcher begins with the introduction of herself and
explanation of the research purpose. There are four face to face interviews and other
two
through Line call interview, all the interview were conducted in Chinese. Each

interview lasted between 20 to 30 minutes and consisted of some general questions and
further interview questions. Participants firstly asked some basic questions such as
tenure, job title,
working area, followed with 9 interview questions along with some
additional ones based on their responses. Participants did not hesitate and feel free to
answer the questions. Whole interview process was smoothly completed and researcher
recorded carefully the interview contents as well.
