Folk games 
Folk games have always and in all societies played an educational function. Unlike other types of education in folk games, this process is organized in the form of competition and ease. Through folk games, you can develop a person both physically and mentally. Folk games give everyone the opportunity to participate, and this quality is the most democratic type of education.
From time immemorial, folk games have vividly reflected the way of life of people, their way of life, work, national foundations, ideas of honor, courage, courage, the desire to possess physical strength and intelligence. And the participants had to show such qualities as dexterity, endurance, speed and beauty of movements, ingenuity, endurance, creative invention, resourcefulness, striving for victory and collectivism.
In children's folk games there is a lot of humor, jokes, competitive enthusiasm. Movements are often accompanied by unexpected, funny moments, tempting and beloved by children, counting rhymes, draws, and nursery rhymes. They retain their artistic charm, aesthetic value and constitu te the most valuable, unique folklore.
Great educational value is inherent in the rules of the game. They determine the entire course of the game, regulate the actions and behavior of the participants, their relationships, and contribute to the formation of will and character. They cause active work of thought, contribute to the expansion of horizons, clarify ideas about the world around us, and improve all mental processes.
According to the nature of their appearance, Uzbek folk games are classified as follows:
• hunting games (Ganges, Zhambil, Lappak, Oshik, Khappak, Chirgizak, etc.);
• shepherd's games (Tuptosh, Kutarma tosh, Echki uyin, Chupon va shokol, Kadama tayok, Chillik, Podachi, Chanta, Chuv-chuv, etc.);
• handicraft games (Dandarak, Charkhpalak, Besh barmok, Pakillok, Lanka, Chigirik, Uzuk soldi, Varrak, Sartarosh, Kuz boglar, etc.);
• agricultural games (Palakhmon, Zhon burgam, Somon sepdi, Chanok uyin, Shaftoli shakar, Kurikchi, etc.);
• imitative games (Hola-hola, Topalok, Kim oladi-yo, Ayik uyin, Huroz urishtirish, Oksok turna, Bosari, Asalari, Gozlar, etc.);
• movement games (Chunka shuvok, Chim otish, Kim tez, Khurkach, Tufalok, Chori chambar, Mushuk-sichkon, Yogoch oyok, Durra solish, Halinchak, etc.);
• word games (Kim chakkon, Bolkon-bolkon, Botmon-botmon, Zhufmi-tok, Ok kuyonim alomat, Ok terakmi, kuk terak, Pirr etdi, etc.);
• Gathering games (Gap-gashtak, Dead end uyin, Podsho-vazir, Podsho-eels, Arshi alo, etc.);
• folk wrestling and related games (Milliy kurash, Polvonbozlik, Elkada kurash, Bel olish kurash, etc.);
• game of riders (Chavgon, Ulok-kupkari, Piyoda poiga, Oltin kobok, Shogul ok, Kiz kuvish, Eshak mindi, etc.).
