Qualitative Research


Qualitative research methods would be useful in understanding the entrepreneurial and start-up landscape in the tourism industry in Uzbekistan. One possible method would be interviews with key industry stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials. These interviews could explore the challenges and opportunities of starting and growing businesses in the tourism industry, the role of innovation and technology, and strategies for success.

Quantitative Research


Quantitative research techniques would help in providing an overview of the entrepreneurship and start-up activities in the tourism industry in Uzbekistan. The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development already provides data on the number of registered businesses in the tourism sector, that could be analysed to identify trends of growth or decline in the industry.
Moreover, by using surveys, data analytics or other available secondary data, additional quantitative research could explore various aspects of the tourism industry in Uzbekistan such as types of tourism products demand, customer segments for different products and their spending behaviour, etc.
For this thesis, a qualitative methodology is the most appropriate approach for this type of research, since it is necessary to collect the opinions of specialists in order to find answers to the research questions. The data will be collected through individual interviews with representatives of travel companies and businessmen

SAMPLE


One method for conducting a sample analysis of entrepreneurship and start-ups in the tourism industry in Uzbekistan is to gather data from existing businesses and entrepreneurs in the field. This can be done through online surveys, phone or email interviews, or even in-person visits.

Data collection


To collect data on entrepreneurship and start-ups in the tourism sector in Uzbekistan, various data collection methods were used, such as: start-ups and other stakeholders. In addition, a group of tourists from foreign countries also took part in this survey, who came to travel with the help of a travel agency, why was the survey or a qualitative method used, because based on these questions and answers that were received from the participants, we can find out the problems and try to find their solutions. During the survey, several travel agencies were selected, such as, “Asia lux travel” “Tour firm Katia” “inApp Travel” “Easy booking” The reason why these entrepreneurs were chosen is that they have a good reputation, good reviews in social networks. The interview plays a key role in finding an answer to a research problem. The following semi-structured open-ended questions are used as the interview questions:
