Surprised- feeling or showing surprise because something has happened that you did not expect. E.g. I'm surprised to see you here.

Prefer- to like, choose, or want one thing rather than another. E.g. I prefer red wine to white.

Hope- to want something to happen or to be true. E.g. We hope to see you soon.

Actually- in reality. E.g. People say bad things about her, but she’s actually very nice.

Really- very. E.g. The book is really good

Else- in addition or different. E.g. Do you want to buy anything else? Or go somewhere else?

Around- about or approximately. E.g. I’ll meet you at around 6 o’clock.

Anyway- to return to an earlier subject, to give a reason to do something. E.g. Anyway, as I said, I woke up very late today.

I don’t mind- it is all the same for me.

What a pity- a feeling of sadness or sympathy for the suffering or unhappiness of others.
