My Family
I was born in a remote mountain region of our republic. I went
to school there and lived in the village until last year. As I entered
the university I have to live* in Baku now. But my family still
lives in the country. There are six of us in the family*. It
consists
of my father, my mother, two sisters and my brother. My football
coach says I have quite a family.
My father is an engineer. He
graduated from Azerbaijan
Civil Engineering Institute. He
works at a big construction
joint venture in the region. His
position is a construction
manager.
My mother is a woman of
forty - five*. She is very young in my eyes. She is an English
teacher. She graduated from Azerbaijan State University of
languages. She teaches English at school. She has got many
pupils. She has not got bad pupils. Her pupils learn English well
as a rule. When I was at school* my mother was my English
teacher too.
My sisters are schoolgirls. Their names are... . One of my
sisters is in the 10th form and the other, the youngest one*, is in
the seventh form. Both of my sisters usually get excellent marks
on different subjects. My mother is proud of her daughters. As to
my brother*, he serves at the army. He is elder than me. He
intends to enter the University when he returns from the army.
