SCIENTIFIC HERITAGE
Summary
Y.Garayev investigated a number of problems in the history of literature,
developed and enriched multi-stage concept of the Renaissance in the East,
researched the influence of “the Sufi revival” of Eastern literature, value of Nizami
creativity for Eastern Renaissance Revival, differences and communication in
Europe and in the East, the impact of creativity of Fizuli in process of domination of
the Turkic languages in Eastern Renaissance, the value of M.F.Akhundov for the
development of the Azerbaijani national realism, including a role in the actualization
of the public and scientific community the problems of transition to the Latin
alphabet.
The writings of Y.Garayev raised issues such as the theory of genre
characteristics of drama in poems, tragedy, the formation and development of the
Soviet novel and national novel features of Azerbaijani realism as a literary
movement in Azerbaijani literature. He influenced the development of the
Azerbaijani national consciousness "enlightened realism" and "literature of pain",
the problems of transition to Azerbaijan critical realism and literature of Southern
Azerbaijan in social realism, particularly the formation and development of socialist
realism in Azerbaijani literature, especially the development.
