The impairment on water assets is consistent with changes in market prices since the time of acquisition, as evidenced by State Government water trading registers and observed prices for Australian Government acquisitions over time. Refer to Note 1.24, Water Entitlements for further information.

During 2013, impairment on intangible assets includes impairment on water assets held by the Living Murray Initiative of $12,829,800 (2012: $11,799,000) (Refer to Note 21E).
