Army, which was accepted as the savior of the region by the Azerbaijani people, was the beginning of the 
XXth century. Famous Azerbaijani Writer and Local Historian of the 20th Century, Qılman İlkin Musayev 
was  influenced  at  an  early  age,  and  as  a  result  of  these  influences,  Qılman  İlkin  wrote  down  what 
happened  as  a  witness  of  the  period.  Qılman  İlkin  Musayev  has  written  many  studies  on  the  history  of 
Baku City. One of these works is "Turkish Army in Bakı", which was written in the style of memoir and was 
about the Caucasian Islamic Army. Written in the form of a memoir with an extraordinary narrative and 
perspective, this work sheds light on what happened in the Caucasus and especially in Azerbaijan between 
the years 1917-1920.
