DISCUSSION AND RESULTS.
One of the high social relations that determine the
development of society is the relationship between teacher and student. Regarding teacher–
student relationships, one can observe such relationships as a traditional teacher (friend), like–
minded teacher, peer teacher, teacher–opponent, senior teacher (patron) and, finally, a person is
his own teacher. In this regard, a number of stories by Jalaluddin Rumi «Masnaviyi manaviy»
can be cited as an example. For example: «Cross–eyed Student», «Tree of Life», «Panic
Teacher», «Teacher and Student», «Sheikh and Murid» and other stories.

As an example, in the story «Cross–eyed student», there was a squint–eyed student of a teacher.
One day, the teacher ordered his student to bring the bottles. Disciple: «Which one should I
bring, tell me exactly? » –he said. The teacher said: «There is only one bottle there, don’t use
your grudge as an excuse, bring the bottle. » The angry student said: «Don’t scold me. » The
teacher said: «Bring the one that is broken. » As the student broke one bottle, the second bottle
also disappeared [5; p. 140]. Although this teacher–student relationship seems like the two
parties do not understand each other, the abstraction created in the relationship is evaluated by
the teacher as clarification. Teacher advice as a result, everything becomes «nothingness» in the
eyes of the student, because the lack of formation of activities such as life experience, broad
worldview, and reasoning gives the student a warning.
In the following story, «The Tree of Life,” mentioned in «Masnavi”, rumors reached the king of
the country that there was a tree in India, and the person who tasted its fruits would be young,
never die, and would not know what old age is. The king chose a man from his palace and
ordered him to find the tree of life from India. The man went to India in search of the tree of life.
Some people who saw his condition called him crazy, while others praised him. Over the years,
his efforts were in vain; he could not find the tree of life and returned to his country. Before
entering the king’s palace, the traveler approached his mentor and told him about what he had
seen. The teacher smiled as he listened to his student and said, «O student, you are deluded and
deceived by the image of something, but you do not look at its meaning. The name of the tree is
wisdom and knowledge,” he said. At the end of the story to wisdom and knowledge is defined
as:
Sometimes it is called the tree, sometimes the sun,
Sometimes they called the sea, sometimes Sahab.
It is one, the result is a thousand and one greetings,
Keep the humble work alive [5; p. 236]
In this story, the teacher clarifies the essence that was mistakenly accepted by his student. That
is, at the end of the story, the student was mistaken for the image of the object, was deceived
and did not pay attention to its meaning. It is clear that the name «Tree of Life» is rooted in
wisdom and knowledge. It would not be an exaggeration to say that these relationships are based
on friendly content. Because the relationship between a teacher and a student, the way to achieve
the essence is friendly, that is, «piri rashad” [5; p. 763] He who walks the right path; one who
follows the right path; guide to the right path; built on a corrective–reforming basis.
In the next story, «The Teacher’s Disciple,” Once a sheikh and a murid (follower) went to the
city. There was no bread or food. Then he (sheikh) took the student by surprise and panicked
from hunger. The sheikh knew about the anger of his murid and advised him to be patient and
careful [5; p. 380]. The writing again says about the great teacher:
I’m always there, I always know
They dig tributaries of temptation [5; p. 106].
Thanks to this advice, he gave strength to the murid through tawakkul, i.e. surrendering to the
will of God, relying only on the sustenance that he gives. Or, again, the story of the «Frightened
Teacher” is mentioned in «Masnavi”. In this story, school students are fed up with their teachers,
a lot of reading, writing, and homework make them very tired. They want to play outside. They
came up with a solution.
Another story «Sheikh and Murid (follower) » in «Masnavi» [5; 440–p.] , a dervish came to the
sheikh’s house looking for sheikh Harakani (q.s.). When he knocked on the door, the sheikh’s
wife came out. The dervish asked the sheikh’s wife: «Where is the sheikh, where to look for
him? »– He said. His wife: «He’s a liar, why do you need him? ». A crowd of stupid people ask
him every time and listen to him. Better go back, do not believe to this liar? –she said. The angry
